Why does this always happen to me? You thought to yourself whilst hiding up high in a tree, a pack of orc’s running underneath you. This happened to you often, being able to find a hiding place was rare, the open plains were the only surroundings around you; you were an outcast. Your village banished you because you were half elf, when they found out the father was an elf they would have banished both of you. Your mother begged them to let you both stay until you were able to care for yourself, but one year before you were to leave she got very sick and died.
Screams filled your ears bringing you back to reality, the smell of blood reaching your nose. Jumping down from the tree you saw a village that was swarming with orc’s, houses blazing with fire. You ran as fast as you could into the village drawing your blade, you killed the first orc you saw.
“Get out now!” you yelled as loud as you could. Another orc tried to attack you but you cut off its head. You see an orc grab a child, drawing your bow you knocked an arrow. Running you took aim and shot the orc, the child stood there in tears. You picked up the child, “Hold on to me. I will help you find your mother.” You said trying to reassure the child.
The child grasped onto you and began looking for his mother, you ran as best as you could with him on your back firing arrows as you went. “There.” he said pointing to a woman who was looking around frantically screaming. You made your way to her bringing him in front of you, “Mama!” he shouted. The woman looked in your direction and held her arms out, taking him she smothered him with kisses. “Thank you!” she said looking at you. “No need, but you need to get out now.” you said before you started to run off. “Wait… what is your name?” she asked. “(Y/n)… now go!”
You killed as many orc’s as you could, but they kept coming. You noticed something that made you uneasy, the orc’s bore the white hand of Saruman. You had to leave for you were outnumbered, you made sure everybody had left safely before leaving yourself. In the distance you see two children astride a large horse, keeping your distance you followed them.

F/N walked into Thranduil while looking at the garden.
"I am so sorry" You looked up at his grey eyes.
"It's fine. F/N follow me" He said walking and ever so often looking back as if you had ran off or had been stolen. You strolled behind him looking at the beautiful view. He turned slightly and smiled." Very well, I see your caught up in the sights" He chuckled the sentence. You turned to him and nodded.

You travelled for that time after meeting him, staying in villages for short time before moving on a few days after, maybe just maybe if you where lucky you'd see him. the cloak he had given you still fitted you it reached to your knees as you wore it the hood was pulled up as you travelled t

return of the noldor (thranduil x reader) - pt6
One month passes by so quickly. The world is changing; you can feel it in the air, feel the tension rising each day with the sun, its strength not only renewed but intensified with the growing darkness of every passing moon. The stars no longer seem to tell peaceful tales of fading memories, but rather give ominous warnings of the treacherous times ahead.
War is coming. And the first battle takes place in your own head. One month ago, Lord Elrond extended a welcoming invitation for your return to Rivendell, to rejoin your ancient kin. But as tempting and inarguably rational the offer is, an invisible anchor seems to hold you back each time y
